Termites are among the most destructive pests a homeowner can face. They often remain hidden inside walls, crawl spaces, foundations, and wooden structures while quietly feeding on the materials that support your home. Because termite activity can be difficult to detect, significant damage may occur before the first visible warning signs appear.
Volunteer Rid-A-Pest provides Sentricon Always Active termite protection for homeowners throughout Cleveland, Chattanooga, and surrounding communities in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia. This advanced termite baiting system is designed to eliminate existing subterranean termite colonies while providing continuous protection against future activity.
Whether you have discovered termites, experienced an infestation in the past, or want to protect your home before termites become a problem, our local team is ready to help.

Every Sentricon service begins with a comprehensive inspection of your home and property. Our trained technicians look for signs of current or previous termite activity, including mud tubes, damaged wood, discarded wings, moisture concerns, and other conditions that may increase the risk of an infestation.
The inspection helps our team understand your property's needs and determine the appropriate placement of Sentricon bait stations.

Sentricon bait stations are professionally installed in the soil around the exterior perimeter of your home. Each station contains Recruit HD termite bait, which is available to foraging termites as soon as the system is installed.
Because the stations are placed in the ground, Sentricon installation typically does not require the extensive trenching or drilling associated with some liquid termite treatments.

Foraging termites consume the bait and carry it back to the colony. The bait is shared with other members of the colony through the termites’ natural feeding process.
Recruit HD interferes with the termites’ ability to complete the molting process they need to grow and survive. As the bait moves throughout the colony, it works to eliminate the worker termites and the queen.

The Sentricon stations remain around your home after the original colony has been eliminated. Our team inspects and services the stations at least annually and provides additional attention when needed.
This ongoing service helps maintain protection against new termite colonies that may begin foraging near your property.
