Sentricon Always Active®
Termite Protection

Continuous Termite Protection for Your Home

Termites cause silent, costly damage to your home’s structure before visible signs ever appear. Volunteer Rid-A-Pest provides the Sentricon® Always Active™ baiting system to eliminate subterranean termite colonies and deliver continuous, year-round protection. Serving Cleveland, Chattanooga, and surrounding areas in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia, our local team keeps your home safe from active infestations and future risks.

What Is Sentricon Always Active?

The Sentricon System with Always Active technology is a professional termite baiting system designed to eliminate entire subterranean termite colonies, including the queen.
Termite bait stations containing Recruit® HD are installed in the soil around the perimeter of your home. The bait remains available inside the stations so the system can begin working when foraging termites discover it.
Worker termites feed on the bait and carry it back to the colony. As the bait is shared with other termites, it works throughout the colony to stop the termites from growing and surviving. This process eventually eliminates the colony responsible for the termite activity.
After the colony has been eliminated, the Sentricon stations remain in place to provide ongoing monitoring and protection.

How Sentricon Termite Protection Works

Professional Termite Inspection

Our technicians conduct a thorough inspection to detect termite activity, risk factors, and property layout. This ensures precise, strategic placement for each Sentricon® bait station.

Bait Station Installation

Sentricon® stations loaded with Recruit® HD bait are installed around your home’s perimeter. This discreet in-ground placement provides immediate protection without the extensive drilling or trenching required by liquid treatments.

Termite Colony Elimination

Foraging termites ingest the bait and share it with the colony. Recruit® HD disrupts their molting process, eliminating worker termites and the queen to collapse the entire colony from within.

Ongoing Monitoring and Protection

Stations remain active after colony elimination. Our team conducts annual inspections and servicing to ensure continuous, long-term defense against future termite threats.

An Environmentally Responsible Termite Control Option

Sentricon Always Active provides targeted termite protection by keeping the active ingredient contained inside secure bait stations installed around the home. This allows the system to use a small amount of termite bait to reach and eliminate the colony.
The Sentricon System was registered under the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Reduced Risk Pesticide Initiative. When used according to its approved label, Recruit HD poses no hazard to groundwater and has no label restrictions for use around wells and cisterns.
Sentricon is designed to control subterranean termites, including aggressive Formosan termites. Our team can inspect your property, evaluate the termite activity, and recommend the appropriate protection for your home.
